If you know me, you know vacations are at the top of my list of things I enjoy. I love to load up with my family and have intentional time together making memories. I love the meals, the adventures, the pictures, and I even love looking back and laughing about the chaos.
We recently went to South Fork, CO for our vacation and it was beautiful! Before we left for the trip my sister in law had told me she felt like the Lord had a word for us in the mountains, and since I have been in a season of rest and transition I was ready for whatever He wanted to say. On my last day to fish I was in my favorite spot on this lake in the photo and the sun was setting creating this gorgeous scene. I was enjoying every second. I wasn't catching anything so I was telling the Lord I really wanted to catch just one more, and I was also really disappointed He hadn't spoken anything special to me. Literally, a few seconds later a bald eagle flew right down the middle of this lake headed into the sunset! I felt His presence in that moment, and I knew exactly what He was saying to me.
I would like to encourage you as He encouraged me. He hears and sees you, and He will renew and strengthen you in whatever season you are in. Walk with Him, talk with Him, and let His presence surround you. I pray today you feel His presence on the mountain, in the valley, walking on water, struggling to tread water, running or even just crawling. He loves you and He never breaks a promise so hold fast to His Word that if you wait on Him then you will mount up with wings like an eagle!
