"For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come."
[Hebrews 13:14]
You know what’s good about having a thick southern accent? It doesn’t matter where you are people know where you’re from!
It’s thick y’all.
Ricky and I were all the way in Ireland years ago and they had no doubts about our home when we opened our mouth.
Rayce thought there should be an “A” in cow because when he says it he hears it.
There should also be no doubt about our salvation as we go about our life.
After we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior we should start transforming to look more and more like Him. The more time we spend in His Word, the more it transforms our mind and gives us direction to make wise decisions in life. The more time we spend in prayer, the more love we have in our heart for others and faith to move mountains.
We should reflect His glory in our life.
The bible says we will know people by their fruit. What kind of fruit are you producing?
Do those closest to you see the love of Jesus in you?
Becoming like our Father is a journey and the Word says we go from glory to glory so don’t forget how far you have come if you get discouraged! God’s love is unending, and He adores you.
This week I pray we all move to a new glory and people know where our eternal home is because of our heavenly “accent”.
